Op deze manier wil We7 inspelen op jonge mensen die niet willen betalen voor muziek, zonder dat artiesten daar de dupe van zijn. Die krijgen een deel van de advertentieinkomsten. De gebruiker kan de nummers na vier weken voor een normale versie omwisselen. Eerder lanceerde het Amerikaanse Spiralfrog met succes een vergelijkbare dienst.
